About the Social Media and Digital Asset Coordinator Position:
The Social Media coordinator is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with customers. That passion is displayed as you engage our customers, our business partners and our associates. In addition, community leadership and participation (both online and offline) is important to the success of this position.
The Social Media Coordinator should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that is engaging on those channels. This person will administer FIELDS social media marketing efforts and participate in the content sourcing and development for advertising and social media campaigns. In this role you will be responsible for:
Planning and goal setting for advertising and social media campaigns.
Development of brand awareness and online reputation – engage in conversations on behalf of the brand and “soft selling” the product by providing support to current and prospective customers
Content sourcing and management
Generation of inbound traffic to our social sites
Develop a conversion strategy to move social connections to customers.
Improve Audience Growth and Engagement
Key Functional Responsibilities:
Brand development in Social channels
Develop and maintain the marketing calendar that encompasses all advertising and marketing efforts
Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high–quality content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Create a regular publishing schedule
Assist in the Newsletter process – creation, production, distribution
Manage social media campaigns and activities
Create and manage relevant content topics that speak to our target customer
Listen and respond to users in our Social networks and action solutions to issues
Work with Merchants and Advertising for possible cross promotional and outreach efforts
Recruit and monitor Brand Ambassadors in each community
Work with Brand Ambassadors in each community to update and maintain community social media pages
Act as a moderator for all content being posted on social sites
Support the stores to build a social community in each individual market
Support the merchants and advertising teams to source quality digital assets as needed for both advertising and social medial campaigns
Conduct Survey and Polls in our communities to ensure we are meeting our customer needs.
Analyze, understand and connect with FIELDS target market/customers
Analyze and report on key metrics
Use best practices and creativity to drive traffic to the site and build brand awareness
Become the promoter and supporter for the company in social media spaces.
Online ratings and reviews
Observe trends in social media tools, applications and strategy
Identify threats and opportunities in user–generated content. Report notable threats to appropriate management
Has knowledge and experience in traditional marketing as well as Social Marketing
Degree is desired and/or relevant work experience
Has a documented immersion in social media
Proficient in content marketing – blogs, videos, info graphics
Experience sourcing and managing content
Able to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side
Able to demonstrate why creative ideas are analytically sound
Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
Maintains excellent writing and language skills
Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
Familiar with InDesign or other page design for digital publishing
Familiar with Hoot-suite for Social Media management
Professional reading and writing skills
1-2 years of social media marketing experience
1-2 years of digital content designing experience
